One passenger dead; driver arrested on suspicion of DUI in Tanglewood Drive crash

PLACERVILLE, CA, (May 24, 2020) - 43-year-old Robert Brazeal was injured Sunday evening in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Placerville.
Robert Brazeal was injured Sunday evening in an ATV accident in Placerville. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Mr. Brazeal was one of two passengers onboard a 2020 Can-Am Defender driven by 46-year-old Jonas Clark. The three men were traveling on the vehicle on private property along Tanglewood Drive when, just after 7:30 p.m., the ATV overturned.
Mr. Brazeal suffered major injuries, was taken by helicopter to Sutter-Roseville Medical Center.
The other passenger, a 47-year-old man, was killed in the wreck.
Clark sustained minor injuries, and was taken to Marshall Hospital. He was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol causing injury and for gross vehicular manslaughter...
