The students are getting ready to compete at the Annual Rotary Music and Speech contest at local Rotary Clubs. All contests have cash prizes. The Area contest will be held at Hangtown's Main Event 301 Main St. Placerville on Sunday April 5, at 1 p.m. Bring your friends, support our youth. And if you have a student, get them involved at the local level so then they may be able to compete at the Area level and then the District level on April 25, in Sparks Nevada Nugget. ​First prize is $1,000 for music and speech.
